A study will be carried out on collecting packaging wastes (paper-cardboard, plastic, glass and metal) and awareness raising work in Lozan Street and its bazaar in Nusaybin county town. In the event, there will be municipal staffs, volunteer agency / organization representatives and duty holders and Recycling Firm staffs. Packaging wastes (paper-cardboard, plastic, glass and metal) thrown of using nylon bags and gloves will be collected; the importance of reuse of wastes, the exact avoidance and reduction at the source, importance of waste sorting and recycling will be explained and awareness raising will be given to citizens and tradesman. Packaging wastes, which were thrown beforehand, especially in the bazaar and in its avenue, and packaging wastes, which were reserved by tradesmen, will be collected. In the event, the material obtained from recycling, will be distributed materials such as informative brochures and cloth bags and awareness will be created by holding an activity with mascots symbolizing the waste. By contributing to recycling; it will be emphasized that protecting natural resources, reducing the amount of invisible wastes, saving and economic development will be provided.
