For the collection of textile wastes, a stand will be opened by the environmental community of the university in front of the Central Cafeteria in Beytepe Campus between 21 November 2022 and 25 November 2022. In this context, all campus residents, regardless of staff and students, were kindly requested to bring all kinds of textile wastes that are in “Not Reusable Condition, Completely Unusable” status to the relevant stand between the specified dates. Textile waste collected during the event will be weighed and delivered to the district municipality. The event aims to prevent the collection and disposal of textile wastes that cannot be reused and to provide yarn, fiber, etc. through the relevant institutions to ensure that it is recycled by means and brought into the economy.
