Garden Organic’s Master Composter Programme is a national volunteer programme operated in partnership with local authorities and waste service providers in England and Scotland. We recruit, train and support volunteers who actively promote home composting in their local communities. There are over 500 volunteer Master Composters who contribute to the programme throughout the year. During EWWR we will launch our ‘Composting at Christmas’ resources designed to ensure that ‘waste’ is not a forgotten topic over the winter festivities. These resources will be actively promoted and used by volunteer Master Composters at Christmas fete’s, public events, at talks, in supermarkets etc. The resources will also be available to download from our website; www.homecomposting.org.uk
