We are the students of the optional Environmental Laboratory of the Secondary School ‘Teodoro Croci’ in Paderno Dugnano,near Milano. we are 19 little ecologists of different ages and from different classes.
This is what we usually do:
1) Every week each class is given a mark based on their separate collection an d at the end of the year the best classes in recycling receive a certificate
2) We promote the waste reduction in the school contest by asking every student to bring his own place mat, cutlery, napkin and glass from home
3) We create posters to show where everyone has to throw different wastes: for example the organic waste in the composter i the garden and the plastic caps and the corks in the container at the entrance of the school(they will be sold and the money will be used by the hematology of the Niguarda hospital)
4)we use recycled material to create new objects like notebooks used by the student, Christmas and Easter decoration, vases fr plants…

In particular, for the EWWR we are going to:
5)organize a little market where the students will exchange objects that they don’t use anymore but that can be useful for someone else
6)take pictures of the objects that we created over the years and send them to you
7)create a school journal in which the students will write and read about the environmental issues, the initiatives zero waste and the activities of the Environmental Laboratory
8)try to interview the mayor of Paderno Dugnano to ask him about the wast problem and how to solve it. Then we will divulge it
