On Sundays 24th of November, a Council worker shall be doing house calls in order to pick up bottle caps in order to help the School’s campaign to collect these caps to help in the annual Istrina. The Primary School of San Lawrenz has been a winner in collecting the most caps per capita during these last years. On the same days, tetra packs shall also be collected by the Council as these will also help the Istrina. The Council will make an effort to raise awareness in the marketing campaign so that people will separate the caps from the bottles/milk cartons in order to effectively recycle and re use purposes. Ideas on what can be done with the recycled material will be distributed via mail to all residents. –
