The Municipality of Neapoli-Sikies in Thessaloniki will organize several actions for the European week of waste reduction, with the support of the office of education, office of environmental education and the sustainability office from 16th to 22nd of November.

The actions are

16/11. In the Municipality there is the social department that works with people with disabilities. This group of people works for years in the production of recycling paper. For this day, the group of people with disabilities will deliver an open workshop for all the people on the know how of making recycling paper

17/11. Workshop on producing art from recycling materials

18/11. Fashion pasarela with clothes made from recycled materials

19/11. Raising awareness on waste reduction, a seminar for young people and students

20/11 Workshop on using recycling materials to procude card postals and other objects

21/11 Workshop on using plastic caps to procude recycling materials. Workshop run by the 1st Secondary School of Sykies

22/11 Art exchibition with recycled art works
