The Competition for Environmentally Friendly Creations by Little Inventors is a competition designed to contribute to environmental awareness, environmental management, and waste management in primary and middle schools. It is based on the principle of separating waste at its source, which is the first and most crucial step in waste recycling, and is inspired by the idea that ” train in the mind while it is young.” In this context, we must be as careful as possible in meeting our needs without pushing the boundaries of future life. An example of this careful behavior is the Waste Management Pyramid. The Waste Management Pyramid is evaluated from the top level to the bottom level (Prevention – Recycling – Disposal). Within the scope of the project, instead of throwing the packaging wastes from home and school directly into the domestic waste, our children will separate the wastes at the origin and recycle them. It means that, children use their creativity and transform these wastes to the artworks. The project will be realised with the participation of 64 primary and secondary school students in Beykoz. Every artworks are to be created by every three students.. After evaluation, prizes will be awarded to the winning students.
