Among these alternatives, fabrics made from beeswax, called ‘Ecological Stretch,’ and beeswax-coated refrigerator bags are the most natural and environmentally friendly options. Ecological Stretches (beeswax fabrics) can be used multiple times and can be renewed when their lifespan ends. They can keep food fresher for a longer time compared to other storage solutions and offer an environmentally friendly solution to the products that contain carcinogenic materials. A workshop on making Ecological Stretch from wax fabrics will be held. Citizens will receive hands-on training and experience making Ecological Stretch. Our goal is to create a long-term impact on as many people as possible, making them aware of the far-reaching consequences of their choices and encouraging them to take action.”
