In the kindergartens of the city of Tallinn, the environmental education program “Prevention and reduction of waste generation, reuse and recycling and formation of the habit of collecting waste by type” is carried out. During the waste reduction week lessons are taking place in  7 different kindergartens.

The environmental educational study program encourages kindergarten children to reuse and recycle things and helps to form the habit of collecting waste separately. In the lessons, educational material is distributed to all participants.
