Postage of a EWWR #RecyclingHero pack to all schools in the district promoting EWWR and asking school’s to take part by recycling batteries to become a ‘Recycling Hero’. This ties in with and builds on our on-going local #RecyclingHero campaign which we have been promoting since it’s launch in Recycle Week in September.
The pack includes:
– a letter explaining how to take part in the battery recycling competition for EWWR
– a slip to send home with pupils to ask parents/guardians to send in batteries for recycling
– rewards stickers with Eco Eddie and Eco Edwina to recognise all of the Recycling Heroes in their school
– reminds schools that Recycling Officers are available to help increase recycling in their school.

As a back up to the posted pack, an email will be sent out to all schools also.
