In the premises of the City of Ljubljana on Zarnikova ulica 3 we have set up an exchange market for the employees. With this activity we are increasing resource efficiency and waste prevention. The exchange market is intended for the transfer of still useful items from one owner to another. We exchange: textiles (children’s, women’s and men’s clothing, tablecloths, curtains, …), ceramics and glass (vases, dishes, glasses, plates), books, CDs, DVDs, musical instruments,… paintings, statuettes,… and toys and games. The only condition for the use is weighing the things before submitting them and before re-using them. Items that remain on the shelves for more than 6 months will be handed over to the Ljubljana Reuse Center.
Our EWWR action will focus to turning Black friday into Green friday. We will increase the promotion of the exchange market as an excelent alternative to buying new things.
