In zero waste implementation; Efforts to create public opinion on waste reduction, reuse, separate collection at source, recycling and sustainability are carried out by Municipalities.

Within this scope; As the Zero Waste Branch Directorate of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department, a textile waste collection event will be held at the stand to be opened at 41 Shopping Centers on November 19-20 2022.

The usable textile wastes to be collected will be delivered to those in need through the Municipalities and their reuse will be ensured. Fabric bags will be sewn from the other collected textile wastes and distributed to the citizens. Our aim is to raise awareness of zero waste among the participants by drawing attention to waste reduction and reuse.
