During the Zero Waste transition process, drinking water dispensers were placed on each floor of the Municipality Service Building, a total of 6. Water quality analyzes of these dispensers are carried out periodically.
The use of paper cups in the town hall has been removed due to excessive consumption. Later, the number of glass cups was increased and employees were encouraged to do so.
In this way, plastic (cardboard) cups are no longer used for consumption purposes in our service building. While the daily consumption of 200 pieces in our cafeteria decreased to zero as of July 13, 2023, the daily consumption in our Main Service Building, which was an average of 35,000 pieces during the COVID-19 epidemic, has become zero today. Bottled water and similar consumption has ended in our service building.

However, our staff working individually in our building still continues to buy bottled water from outside. In order to prevent this, a total of 4,000 glass water bottles will be distributed to Antalya Metropolitan Municipality personnel as a continuation and final touch of the project.
To end the consumption of packaged water, which is a constant need, and to encourage the use of healthier and more sustainable glass water bottles.
