To promote European Week for Waste Reduction, food waste reduction and community action on food waste across Scotland, we will be coordinating a special edition Love Food Hate Waste campaign on food sharing during this week’s EWWR.

The ambitious social media campaign will promote practical action that people can easily take to cut food waste by sharing food at work, school and in communities. The campaign will include an element of celebration of all the people from other European nations and regions who have chosen to make Scotland their home, and the food that they would share with their neighbours and friends. This will be done by working in partnership with well-known Scottish European chefs, who will promote our messages during EWWR.

The Love Food Hate Waste Scotland Facebook page will form the main channel for this activity, with supporting activity on the Zero Waste Scotland Twitter.
