Food waste prevention information stall- Islington

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

British workers spend £5.5 billion each year on shop-bought lunches. NLWA Waste Prevention Officers will be visiting offices to hold a lunchtime stall, offering free tools and tips to help employees waste less and save more. There will be information about food waste reduction, including free portion-measuring tools and ideas for how to have a ‘waste free lunch’. Reusable food containers will be offered to staff in order for them to use last night’s leftovers for lunch, to reduce waste and save money and at the same time reduce packaging.
