Fgura has an urban environment with little greenery to surround it. Although the Local Council has tackled waste separation to its core over the past few years, we will work tirelessly to educate our citizens from a very young age.

Therefore, this year we have come up with a plan to collect as much plastic bottle caps as possible to create a monument ourselves with these caps. The plastic bottle caps will then be stuck on a piece of wood which will be collected from our bulky waste service.

Fgura schools and Fgura NGOs will be helping out with this action.

During the action we will also be promoting the European Week for Waste Reduction.
