Fur of Love: a label to save last century’s furs from being dumped
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Fur of Love is both a label and a campaign devised by GreenPlanner and on whose project the students of the Master in Product Sustainability Management at the Milano Fashion Institute collaborated to promote their vision of the fashion system.
Their mission is to transform the industry into a sustainable system that respects people, the environment and animals.
Fur of Love’s symbol are fur garments: saving these garments that belonged to grandmothers, mothers and aunts from landfill does justice to animals, reduces CO2 production and limits water and energy consumption.
For Fur of Love, “wearing an old fur coat is an act of love, respect for the environment and for the animals of this century”. Do you agree? Sign the petition too and support the mission.
Fur of Love, why a label? The idea of the label is to give value to pre-loved clothes – in this case furs inherited from grandma – by certifying their origin.
