A Give and Take Day is a type of exchange event where people can bring any household items that they no longer want. These items are then offered for free to anyone who would like them. There is usually a set ‘giving’ time, before the ‘taking’ begins.

The following services are also offered to residents as part of the events:
• A free collection of bulky items arranged via email or telephone prior to the Give and Take Days.
• A free delivery of bulky items from the event arranged once the event was completed.
• Repair workshops for electrical items.
• Information stalls for borough recycling services and food waste prevention.
