Our school is surrounded by numerous shops, therefore, as part of the EWWR, we will be asking them to give us any cardboard which they would be throwing away. The EkoSkola students will also be speaking to these businesses and suggest ways how their shop can reduce packaging.

From this, we will use the cardboard boxes to decorate the EkoSkola area in school as well as to make different festive decorations. The extra carboard will be given to a local shredding company, and this will be used to help raise awareness about how much packaging is used.

As a school, during the EWWR, we will also be raising awareness through talks, videos as well as posters about the importance of adopting strategies which help to minimise waste. A before and after approach will be adopted for this in order to measure the intended results.
