The Green Ants School program is an educational program designed by the Transformation Association to teach children the culture of on-site sorting and waste reduction. As part of the European Reduction Week, we will implement the “Green Ants School” program for children with educable disabilities and their parents in order to provide equal opportunities in education. The program will be carried out by the Transformation Association in cooperation with the Lions Clubs of Turkey and the Lions Center for Children with Educable Disabilities. Within the scope of the education program, we will use the Green Ants / A Recycling Story children’s book developed by the Transformation Association and the Green Ants / Zero Waste Game board game we developed to teach children the culture of waste reduction. We will also involve the parents of the children in the education program, which will start with an awareness-raising workshop and include hands-on activities on waste reduction and waste sorting.
