Hazardous and green waste collection campaign

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

Every resident of Tallinn can clean up hazardous materials, WEEE and green waste on their territory and near it and then send them for recycling. Waste removal and processing will be free of charge. Waste collection points will be as close as possible to residential buildings. During this campaign, the attention of residents will be drawn to the importance of sorting and separate collection of waste, the danger to the environment of hazardous waste, and the need to collect biowaste, including green waste, separately from other waste. A special interactive map has been created, on which all special transport stops are indicated, special posters have been made, and the campaign will be covered on radio, TV and in local newspapers. The campaign will be run in Estonian and Russian.
