HelloWielo- Reusable Revolution

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

HelloWielo – Nationwide campaign for the promotion of reusable nappies and reusable hygiene products for women such as pads and menstrual cups.
As a part of the campaign PZWA will organize free workshops for parents and parents-to-be and meetings for women about reusable alternatives throughout the country. During the meetings, participants will learn about different systems of modern reusable nappies. They will learn how to choose diapers for their and their children’s needs, how to care for them and how to use them. We will educate women on menstrual health.
A nurse who will talk about the benefits of using reusable products and a professional menstrual cup fitter who will teach participants how to choose the right menstrual cup will participate in the campaign.
For those unable to attend the workshop, we have planned live streams on the fanpage of the campaign. Specialists will answer all questions about menstrual cups, reusable pads and cloth diapers.
In addition, to make reusable products even more available, attractive discounts will be provided by our partners, as a part of the campaign.
We hope that thanks to our campaign, we can reduce the amount of waste generated and we will disenchant the reusable products that are beneficial to our health, the environment and our wallets!
Our campaign aims to reduce a very large amount of waste related to disposable diapers, pads and tampons. One child during the year of using traditional disposable nappies produces hundreds of kilograms of waste that cannot be recycled.
