Within the European Week of Waste Reduction will focus on reduction and recycle of textile waste training and workshops with waste textile materials for the age of 9-12 children group in Zeytinburnu Municipality Environment and Climate Change Training Center.

Information on the importance of the European Waste Reduction Week, waste reduction, waste recycling and water and carbon footprint of textile wastes will be emphasized during the trainings. All of the workshops will be carried out using waste fiber and textile products and socks production residues. These wastes will be upcycled to toys.

During the European Waste Reduction Week, volunteer university students will assist the children in the workshops in the activities to be held in Zeytinburnu, which is known as the textile center. University students will present their projects about the waste reduction and environmental responsibility at their college project courses.

At the end of the organization toys will be given to children.
