Interactive exhibit “BOB AND MUZEIKO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT”
• WHAT will be done
Description:
As part of a common exhibit, Bob, the small metal box with the big heart from the eponymous book of Zdrava Kamenova, and Muzeiko, the curious explorer who aids the children in discovering the mysteries of science, set about to reveal the secrets of waste and invite the children to participate in an adventure that will bring about reducing waste.
Having as the main target group the children between the ages of 6 and 12, their families as well as their younger brothers and sisters, the exhibit introduces the visitors to a scaled down replica of our world, in which they will have to find solutions to issues that have to do with recycling, reducing energy use, water, and natural resources. The exhibits cover some of the most frequent reasons for generating waste – the one time use of food containers, the packaging of food products, the insufficient level of recycling when it comes to waste, our determination to have more and more possessions – by engaging adults and children in games and challenging tasks.
The exhibits take into account some of the newest studies pertaining to reducing waste, recycling and reuse, which aim to inspire the children and their families in the direction of making small adjustments in their behavior, the actual effects of which may be huge.
Bob and Muzeiko will attempt to convince us that changing the pessimistic trends depends on us and what we do every day.
