7R Lifestyle Malta is a journey where Maltese citizens join in and give their time, energy and want to take direct action to improve the current environmental situation.  We make people aware that the source of all waste found in Nature is done directly by human behaviour.

Cleanups have become the norm in our society.  We think that cleanups shall not be the norm anymore.  Environmental Criminals’ behaviour is the problem – not the plastic waste as the trend shows.

This action started since 27-Sep-2020 and we are still in action 🙂

Our aspiration is to reach a ZERO cleanup state in Malta on land.  Beach and coast cleanups will continue to be done throughout the whole island.

Our target for Year 2021 is to clean Ghar Lapsi area located in Is-Siggiewi.   Part of this area is marked as Natura 2000.

During our weekly cleanups throughout 2021 we are doing the following;

1. Listing the amount of littering and dumping material found.
2. The litter and dumping material is investigated while being cleaned up.
3. Any proof found which can lead to an environmental criminal is kept and reported directly to the Police.
4. A list of all identified environmental criminals is updated.
5. The followers on Facebook and Instagram are informed weekly about our progress and actions.

With time, Solo cleanups evolved to Community Cleanups and then to Cleanup Protests.

Throughout our action, we found out that there are currently flaws within the enforcement system in Malta.

Both National and Local solutions to bad behaviour and enforce were shared to the public.
