KATIK BUS

“KATIK BUS”, which was designed and put into service by our Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate, set off on 08.12.2022. Paper, metal, plastic, glass and waste vegetable oils, which are collected separately at the source, are weighed and taken at their value to the Katık Bus, which meets the people of Atakum with the slogan ‘Let Your Waste Become Money, Contribute to Your Income’.

The Katik Bus also accepts waste medicines, waste electrical and electronic waste, and waste batteries. The bus, which serves as a mobile vehicle two days a week, operates at a fixed point five days a week; The first day of the week program is published on the municipality’s social media accounts.
