This activity consists in approaching the mobile recycling centre to the school centres of the Ibiza Island. Students have de possibility to improve their knowledge of how the waste management works in our Island. This activity consists in two parts. Firs of all, an environmental educator explain to the students the importance of reuse, recycle and reduce the amount of waste we produce every day, emphasizing the fragility of our environment. The second part takes place two or three days later when de mobile recycling centre vist the school and all the students can touch and see all the parts of this particularly truck. Furthermore, students bring those things they don’t need anymore (light bulbs, broken toys, electrical appliances, used batteries …) so they learn how to use this source available on the streets of the Island.
