Waste Audit carried out at St Brides School in N Ballachulish Help the school identify their main waste products and help them create an action plan and strategies to reduce the waste the school produces, improve recycling and composting. The waste audit will be carried out by staff, pupils and us. Children will also be involved in reporting back to the school at an assembly and writing a letter to inform their parents of the findings

General audience is the school pupils, teachers, teaching assistants and parents of children attending the school who will be informed of what is going on in the school letter will be sent home to report on the findings of the audit.

We will then do a follow up a few months after the waste audit to see if the action plane ans waste reduction strategy is working and carry out another audit.

It is hoped the school will identify, address and reduce their waste consumption and make them aware of wasteful behaviors and how change can be achieved to benefit the environment.
