More circularity, less carbon launch event
• WHAT will be done
Description:
What if cities and regions could contribute to reduce the global carbon footprint thanks to the implementation of their local circular economy policies?
With the campaign “More circularity, less carbon” ACR+ will encourage local public authorities to account for the carbon impact of their circular economy strategies. Even better: participating cities and regions will take steps at their local level to reduce the carbon emissions linked with local resource management by 25% by 2025!
Discover how they will reach this ambitious goal on 19 November 2019. This new ACR+ campaign will be unveiled in the presence of representatives of the United Nations, the European Commission, and the European Parliament.
Join us on 19 November 2019, from 14:30 to 16:30, in Brussels (Residence Palace – 155 Rue de la Loi).
