During November we’ve organised a food waste segregation and recycling roadshow to distribute food waste starter packs to members of the public.

In 2019 we ran a pilot project where these starter packs were distributed in three different towns and thanks to the great work by those towns we recorded a massive 20% increase in the amount of food waste disposed of correctly and a very impressive 56% decrease in contamination of the food waste bin.

We will be visiting the following locations over the coming weeks and don’t worry if a location near you doesn’t appear, we will be back next year to distribute more so watch this space!
