For this year’s European Week for Waste Reduction, the Southern Regional Council would like to invite the schools within the region to aid in the collection of old clothes that will then be delivered to NGO’s  where they can be sustainably managed.

The schools that opt into this initiative will be provided with a clothes collection box that they can place within their school.

The schools will also be provided with digital promotional and informational materials that they can disseminate to their staff and students.

At the end of the campaign, the Southern Regional Council will collect the container filled with clothes and deliver it to an NGO that will sustainably manage the donated clothing.
