I collected all junk mail received in my letterbox from Nov 2017 until Oct 2018 and kept it in my house for further analysis. Then I decided to buy a ‘No Junk Mail’ sign from ‘Tiger Laser Cutting & Engraving (www.tigerlasercutting.com.au) and attached label in Feb 2019.

In Jul 2019, I started analysing the collected junk mail above and issued results and information with regards to amounts in kilograms received by each brand or entity. Several statistics were calculated and given out with regards to junk mail received in the locality of Zurrieq.

All this information is being shared in the Facebook Page named as No Junk MAiLTA so every member would be made aware of the junk mail. Several initiatives will be taken during the EWWR by giving out No Junk Mail labels to members who would like to use it to avoid junk mail in their letterboxes. Several photos of the negative impact by Junk Mail will be shared during the EWWR.

Other statistics will be worked out to show the Local and even at a National impact by junk mail and the positive aspect of attaching a label to your letterbox.

Alternative ways to junk mail will be shown as well on the page to try to change the behaviour of people when looking at advertised material instead of using paper junk mail.
