What is the aim?

To work collaboratively as a school with the local community and beyond to raise awareness about Waste Reduction (Re-use) and to raise funds for the Karl Vella Foundation.

What is the Karl Vella Foundation’s

Their mission is to provide educational and psychological assistance to children in families disrupted by illness

How are we going to do it?

The parents and the local community at large will collect and send to school any t-shirts that are no longer used. The t-shirts will be converted into shopping bags and then sold. All the money collected will be donated to the Karl Vella Foundation.

Monday 20th

Special Assembly about what will be happening this week in our School and in our community.

Teachers’ Council and Pupils’ Council to collect gathered T-Shirts from Parish Church and Local Council.

Children (Year 3-6) cut and sew/tie

Remaining bags to be sold.

Friday 24th
Special Assembly to review this week’s events.
During the assembly we will point out the purpose of this activity.
A photo story and a mini video clip highlighting the main events of the week will be shown.
A representative from Karl Vella Foundation will be given the donation
