With the project named “A Different Neighborhood is Possible”, it is aimed to create a climate-friendly neighborhood in Fetih Mahallesi, which was chosen as a pilot neighborhood  where a different neighborhood culture is lived in which individuals with high environmental awareness, who assimilate social assistance and solidarity, do not distinguish between classes, and where environmental gains are achieved with zero waste awareness. In this context, studies have started under 5 different headings.

Events:

1) At the meeting point “Leave If Too Much – Take It If Missing”; The exhibition, which is open to the people of the neighborhood every month, provides food, clothing, furniture, patient beds, wheelchairs, oxygen cylinders, etc., in the form of life water to those in need. aid is provided.

2) The activity of collecting organic wastes at the end of the day in the vegetable-fruit market established in the neighborhood, collecting them in the waste piggy bank, sending them to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and making compost.

3) The efficiency of planting compost obtained from the tea and coffee wastes from the compost machine placed in the neighborhood headman.

4) The effectiveness of providing online zero waste training to schools in the neighborhood
