Interested students at our school will be given a plain cloth bag to decorate with messages in favour of the environment. These bags will then be taken home and on specific school outings to be given away to relatives and members of the community against a donation which will go towards a charity/ environmental NGO.

When out into the community, students will be taken to areas that are popular with shoppers such as supermarkets and local open markets.

Both in their families and when out in the community, the students will talk to the participants, asking them questions about their shopping habits and explaining the harmful effects of plastic bags whilst encouraging them to use reusable cloth bags when shopping.
