Description:

Motivated team members will bring food to share amongst themselves and discuss waste reduction in the kitchen. Efforts will be made to avoid waste during the preparation, transport, and consumption of the food. Communication will be made about waste avoidance tips and tricks beforehand.

Every year, Beci hosts a Christmas dinner for employees. This year, the organising committee will gather during the EWWR to plan it seriously from a zero waste perspective. The EWWR has provided the opportunity to open the discussion and the planning meeting will make use of the momentum to raise awareness on zero waste.

BECI, Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry, is the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Union of Enterprises in Brussels (UEB).

Our activities related to environmental management of businesses are grouped under the "Brussels Green Network". In terms of waste prevention and management, we are the regional helpdesk for businesses. We also visit businesses to carry out diagnostics on current environmental management, with a focus on waste, and advise big and small companies on how to improve it.
