“Plastic Bag? – No, Thanks!” campaign will inform citizens, economic agents and the government of Moldova about the importance of quitting mass use of plastic bags a primary packaging and carrying instrument and inspire them to take action.

The campaign will include:

Movie Screenings in public libraries, schools and universities
Workshops on creating alternatives to plastic bags
Flash-mobs at local supermarkets
Discourses with the Ministries of Environment and of Economics on passing the legislation prohibiting or minimizing the use of plastic bags.
Promotion of economic agents offering alternatives to plastic bags – recycled paper bags, fabric bags, bio-degradable bags (only in case of proved positive impact)
