For Waste Reducation week we would like to work on reducing the amount of plastic used at school, in particular plastic bags. Before waste reduction week Eco-School members will be visiting each class to check how many people have their lunch in a plastic bag. The amount is logged daily. Circulars are then sent home before waste reduction week so that students start getting their lunch in a container. Posters will be done by the members themselves to hang round the school.

Members will visit classes again during the waste reducation week.They check again how many students got their lunch in plastic bags to see (hopefully) a decrease. – Thus we would have reduced the amount of plastic used during that week by the school.
