PU Interjero erdvė is an organization in Lithuania, which has project “Kūrybos kampas 360” (Creative Corner 360) that aims at educating society about the wasteful consumption and its consequences while also teaching about how to reuse the items, which are no longer suitable for their primary function.
We are organising Plastic waste reduction event in which we’ll be educating people about the sustainable consumption and the consequences of just throwing things, especially plastic’s bags out. As we know, it takes only one minute in the world to consume one million plastic’s bags. We show people how to avoid these bags in the trading venue. We have our little sewing course, where everyone could make reusable bags from curtains’s sheetings using non-waste technology. These bags are valuable not only for taking all products, but also for small package as fruits, vegetables or other weighing products. In additinion, we also will be holding seminar and discussion, presenting film screening, in order to increase people’s social responsibilities, the awareness of waste in the environment and what tragic consequences it creates.
