As part of celebrating Earth Day and World Book Day, Eko-Skola committee teamed up with the Literacy Department to hold a sale of Pre-Loved Books at school with the aim to raise funds for the installation of a Drinking Water Fountain which would in turn reduce the amount of plastic waste generate by the use of single-use plastic bottles.

All students in the Junior School were invited to donate any personal books that they are no longer using.  These books had to be in suitable for young children and in good condition.

The books were sorted according to age appropriateness, language and genres. Parents of students were also invited to come to school on the day of the book sale to help with the organisation.
