The Ħad-Dingli Local Council together with the local NGOs will be organising a Christmas Village. Recycled material will be used in building the traditional crib and to decorate the area. Also, we will be collecting reusable plastic bottles from which a Christmas tree will be set up in the village square. This will enhance the re-use and recycle campaign in our locality. The Local Council will also be organising a collection of used clothes.

The actions seeks to help the public understand that products can be re-used. This promotes delaying the purchase of a new product, opting for repair or reuse. It also encourages the donation of products that are no longer needed to be used for other projects. This raises consumers awareness.
