Reduction in use of resources for example ensure we switch off electrical appliances not in use throughout the school day by children monitoring. Also ensuring doors/windows are closed to reduce loss of heat. Reduce the usage of water when washing hands, do not press tap several times unnecessarily. Reduce the use of water in toilet cisterns by inserting water bottles. Re-use milk bottle tops for art& craft, reuse mini-milk bottle cartons as paint pots/glue pots. Create bird feeders from mini- milk bottles. Reuse plastic water bottles also for bird feeders. Ensure any food wastage is composted daily from the canteen. Place recycling station in prominent view at front door to encourage use of Uniform swap shop, cash for clobber recycling bin in playground, recycle battery station too.
