The action is an effort to reduce and eliminate the use of disposable products used in our company.Within the scope of the European Waste Reduction Week,
Within the facility, the presentation of plastic packaged yogurt, buttermilk and water products offered to employees in the refectory was terminated and replaced with bulk buttermilk and yogurt in the salad bar section, and jug water service after treatment for water.
The disposable plastic plates used for dessert service in the refectory were canceled and desserts were served on reusable plates that could be washed and reused.
The distribution of plastic cups and plastic bottles of water in the rest areas was abolished, private water thermoses were provided to all employees and purified water dispensers were placed in common areas. Disposable composite tea cups used for tea breaks in rest areas were removed and private thermos cups were distributed.
The amount of plastic packaging used for detergents used for cleaning purposes was reduced by purchasing large jerry cans instead of disposable detergent boxes and switching to a bulk filling system.
