As part of the EWWR and also Hilton’s own “Travel With Purpose” initiative that seeks to cut our environmental footprint by 50% in 2030 we have already written to all our Food & Beverage suppliers to
a) share with them that our ultimate aim is to work only with suppliers that are engaged in completely eliminating plastic from their products
b) ask them to share with us any initiatives they are already taking and what their long term strategy to eliminate plastic from their products and packaging is.

To this end we have already started to substitute some items like small chocolates and butter from plastic to paper/foil packaging.
