The Western Regional Council has conducted several cleanups during 2023 in various localities that form part of the Region. 

These cleanups were:

• Il-Maqluba, Il-Qrendi: 25th February 2023. (70kg collected)
• Triq it-12 ta’ Mejju, Ħaż-Żebbuġ: 20th May 2023 (Cleanup and Tree Planting).(60kg collected)
• Mdina: 9th September 2023 (140kg collected plus bulky waste)
• Wied is-Sewda, Ħaż-Żebbuġ: 11th September 2023 (Cleanup involving heavy machinery)
• Triq il-Madonna tad-Dawl, Ħal Kirkop: 13th September 2023 (around 120kg plus bulky waste)
• Wied is-Sewda, Ħaż-Żebbuġ: 16th September 2023 (around 90kg collected)
• Ħal Safi: 17th September 2023 (around 70kg collected plus dried shrubs)
• Dingli: 23rd September 2023 (around 75kg collected plus bulky)

During the cleanups (of September),  video footage was taken and will be published on our Social Media during the EWWR week.
