The Mqabba Local Council will be themeing up with an art teacher to host art sessions whereby children will be given innovative ideas to reuse waste generated at home in order to create something beautiful. Children will understand that even waste can be used to generate something beautiful, and their efforts will yield a decorative object which can be used at Christmas time. This ornament can be kept by the kids, donated to a friend, or sold during one of the Christmas markets taking place around the island to generate funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund. This national fund will sponsor charitable non government organizations and is under the patronage of the President of Malta.
