Due to the current situation, 1st Birkirkara Scout Group will organise an online Scavenger Waste Hunt through Zoom for different ages.  We know that they love this game so we are going to include objects related to waste and add an informative part to it.

A number of objects will be selected and research is done as a preparation for this game.

This will be done for 3 different sections;

• Monday – for the Beavers
• Wednesday – for the Cubs
• Friday – for the Troop

How this game works?

1. Select an object.
2. Request the participants to search for it in their own house.
3. Bring it and show it on camera.
4. Discuss the impact on the environment, any hidden chemicals used during production of that particular object, how it is made and if there are any alternatives.

Parents can join in as well in the online game.
