Following the success of our recent clean-up event at the Cirkewwa Marine Park, we are planning our final, end of summer ‘Sea to Shore Clean-up’ event this coming November. Calling all certified divers* snorkelers, kayakers, and nature enthusiasts alike, we need all hands on deck to make this event just as successful and close the season with a BANG!
(*advanced open water or higher).

As per the theme of this clean-up, we will be doing a sea clean-up of the South Quay area as well as the surrounding shore of the marine park. The nature of this area makes it a perfect hiding spot for rubbish accumulation, so regular clean-ups with the help of all our wonderful volunteers, continue to help our thriving marine life. We aim also to help raise awareness of the importance of reducing plastic pollution, especially the single-use kind.
