The hotel has invested in a baler in order to compact separated card board boxes generated from packaging material. Bales are then sold to contractor who exports baled cardboard directly to mills. This process is envisaged to continue in the foreseeable future and not just for the EWWR week. It is estimated that an average of 1.5 tonnes of carton boxes per week will be recycled by the hotel.
