The Western Regional Council is collaborating with the organizers of the Magical Illuminated Trail Malta concerning the Waste Management of the month-long event happening in Verdala Palace, Buskett.

The event will be taking place from the 25th of November 2023 till the 7th of January 2024, where separating bins will be provided along the area to facilitate waste separation during the event. The bins will be separated into these waste streams: Mixed (Black and dark green bins), Recycling (metal, plastic, metal in blue bins), organic (white bins), and Glass (brown bins).

A separating box, used for a mini-game for people of all ages, will be placed near the food court to teach people how to separate waste in a fun and short way. At the same time, Wasteserv will be present hosting educational games for children on waste separation as well.

All waste will be collected separately to avoid contamination of waste from the collector’s end.
